We suffered a disappointing defeat 3-1 to the UK last night. The most surprising defeat was Victor Chow losing to Andrew Simons 4d, while John’s rather lucky win (from a lost position) was balanced by Ben’s unfortunate defeat from a won position. This defeat has destroyed our chance of winning the league, but we will try our best to get the runner-up place.
