31st WAGC, Day one

Lloyd lost his first game against the 5d from Sinagopore, Yuxiang LOU.

It was a good game. He got a large moyo which I should have invaded, rather than playing safely around the edges. I got all 4 corners and a large capture but it was not enough. Lost by about 40 points!

He won his second game against the 5k player from Italy, Mauri Francesca.

Well I won my second game against Italy after losing the first. This one was a lot easier and I felt like I was in control most of the time (although not pleased with some of my decisions).

Tomorrow he meets another 5d, Kasper Hornbek.

Go Lloyd! Play your usual style (if you see a moyo, invade it 🙂 ).
