A number of new features have been added to the statistics page, as well as the player rank charts.
For instance, if you look at your individual progress chart (available by clicking on the picture of a graph next to your name on the player ratings page), you can now also see a table that tells you how long you spent at each rank. Did you progress smoothly? Or did you get stuck at 19k, 9k or 1k?
The player statistics page, which provides a summary of the best performers in various categories over the last six months, also has some new categories. For instance, who plays best with black, or when taking white? Who has played the highest proportion of games as white (the “teachers”)? And who has mostly played as black (mostly the lower kyu players, understandably)? But if you’re a high ranked player who has a high proportion of black games, perhaps its a sign that you should be playing more games vs weaker players as well?
