Will all games be on scratch handicaps?

By permitting the non-South African players to participate, aren’t you asking for subsequent disputes, given that there are quite a lot WAGC points available for these tournaments?

Aren’t undo’s discouraged for tournament games? I know KGS has an option to prevent misclicks (where you have to hold down the mouse button for a second or more before it registers).

Given the frequently laggy nature of South African connections to the KGS servers, I’d personally favour a shorter main time and a less severe byoyomi time.

    1. Yes, all games are even. The format (sections of players at similar strength) should ensure that this is not a problem.
    2. We need to spell out whether non-citizens may get WAGC points (in the SA closed this is not an issue as non-citizens are not allowed to play). Will get back to you on this.
    3. I’m not sure if there is a standard policy on undos, other than that they were allowed in the 2004 and 2005 Candidates. I don’t see a problem with the stated rule (optional but encouraged in cases of obvious misclicks).
    4. Ok, we’re considering this. Specific suggestions for time limits, anyone?
