The first round of the best-of-three final of the Western Cape Closed was played last Tuesday between myself and Andrew Davies. Many thanks to Rory who brought along his laptop to record the game – here it is, with comments: Konrad vs Andrew.
Round 2 will be played next Tuesday (8 November) at the Cape Town Club.

Agreed – there’s a whole world of undercurrents and implied threats in the game I wasn’t even aware of while I was watching the game unfold live.
